ADV 93 Packaging Design: Exercise 2: Taylor Swift Hot sauce 
As a part of this exercise, I was assigned a celebrity (Taylor Swift along with an item which in my case was Hot Sauce. My Job was to create a well-designed and eye-catching packaging design that would fit well into the current market of hot sauce while staying true to my celebrity and her brand's identity. After researching current brands of hot sauce and my celebrity the overall design had the essence of Bold and Fun created in Adobe Substance which gave it its interactive 3D effect.
The Brand Included Three Flavors going by the names of Crecent Haze, Illicit Quarter, and Mango Eclipse. The Theme of the design was inspired by Taylor Swift and how she was born on a full moon. The idea was when you purchase each flavor the different moon phases determined the level of heat. The Design then goes on to the Tagline in reference to Taylor Swift's Famous hit "You belong with me" hinting at how the consumer should by this product. 
First Steps in the Process/ Breakdown: Hot Sauce Research
Adding hot sauces to food enhances their taste profile and allows consumers to enjoy a pleasant taste in their food. Young consumers are more likely to experiment with their food and add new flavors to their meals. Additionally, such sauces may be beneficial to the geriatric population with compromised taste buds.
Tabasco Pepper Sauce is the leading segment owing to its healthy attributes and better food adaptability, because of this, I wanted to base my flavors around the most popular flavors that are currently enjoyed the most. Such flavors were Tabasco, habanero, jalapeno, and sweet and spicy. 
Hot Ones is a fun YouTube channel where celebrities go on a eat sauces from the least spicy to the most. This brought on more of that fun aspect mentioned earlier in the research portion grasping the idea of why people enjoy hot sauce and what they enjoy about it. With Hot sauce being spread worldwide and my Person being a celebrity I also looked at flavor pallets around the world and their consumption. 

Fact: (The U.S. hot sauce market size was valued at $963.08 million in 2022 & is projected to grow from $1,026.28 million in 2023 to $1,668.19 million by 2030)

Color Scheme: Going with Dark colors with pops of lights. for the sweet and spicy flavor, I went with blue tones gradually getting into those oranges and reds. Below you can see the series of flavors and the logo I designed. 
The original idea was to add a design in the moons adding Chilles but instead when I started creating, I thought keeping a simpler design was the way to go. Some worries I had was that it wouldn't be bright enough, but as i reworked the colors and changed the opacity I believe it came out cohesive.
